Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible for this website
The controller within the meaning of the GDPR is:
Mario Lambertucci
Tramplerstr. 41/16
77933 Lahr, Germany
Email: myfirstrobotlab@gmail.com
If you have any question about how we process personal data, contact us at that email address.
2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) as our data processor. When you visit a page, Cloudflare automatically processes technical data in server log files: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page accessed, the referrer URL, and your browser and operating system information.
We use this data solely to deliver the website securely and reliably and to protect it against attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and functional website, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Cloudflare may process data in the EU and the USA; transfers are covered by Cloudflare's Data Processing Addendum and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Log data is deleted by Cloudflare after a short period.
3. Microsoft Clarity (usage analytics)
We use Microsoft Clarity, a web analytics service provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited (One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland) and Microsoft Corporation (USA), to understand how visitors use this website — which pages are read, where people click, and where the layout confuses them — so we can improve our content.
Clarity records interaction data such as clicks, scrolling, mouse movements and pages visited, together with technical information about your device and browser and a pseudonymous identifier. Clarity provides us with heatmaps and anonymised session recordings; text you type into form fields is masked by Clarity by default. Clarity sets first-party cookies (such as _clck and _clsk) to distinguish new from returning visitors.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving our content and usability, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. You can object to this processing at any time — see section 7 — and you can opt out of Clarity via Microsoft's opt-out page: https://clarity.microsoft.com/ (project settings and opt-out information). Further details are in Microsoft's Privacy Statement: https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement
4. Embedded YouTube videos
Our articles embed videos from YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). We use a privacy-friendly two-click facade:
- When a page loads, only a preview image of the video is loaded from Google's image servers (i.ytimg.com). Loading that image already transmits your IP address to Google.
- The actual video player loads only when you click the preview. Playback then runs in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), and Google processes data — including your IP address and, if you are signed in, your account data — under Google's own responsibility.
The legal basis for the click-to-play embedding is our legitimate interest in presenting content attractively, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
5. Cookies — the short, honest list
This site sets very few cookies:
- Technically necessary cookies from Cloudflare (for example __cf_bm) protect the site against bots and attacks. They require no consent.
- Microsoft Clarity cookies (_clck, _clsk) support the usage analytics described in section 3.
- We use no advertising cookies, no social-media pixels and no cross-site tracking for marketing purposes.
6. Contacting us by email
If you write to us, we process your email address and the content of your message only to answer your enquiry (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR). We delete enquiries once they are dealt with and no legal retention duty applies.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. The authority responsible for us is: Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg, Lautenschlagerstraße 20, 70173 Stuttgart, Germany.
8. External links
Our pages link to external websites (for example YouTube, X, GitHub and manufacturers). Their operators are solely responsible for the data processing that takes place there.
9. Changes to this policy
We update this policy whenever our tools or the legal requirements change. The version published here, with the date at the top, is the current one.
